About Total Nuclear Annihilation

Total Nuclear Annihilation (TNA) is a pinball machine that captures the essence of retro-futuristic 80s arcade culture. Designed by Scott Danesi as a homebrewed pinball machine and released by Spooky Pinball in September 2017, TNA combines classic pinball gameplay with modern technology.

Development History

Total Nuclear Annihilation was born from Scott Danesi's vision to create a pinball machine that paid homage to the early 80s Bally pinball machines while incorporating contemporary features. The game was designed to be both accessible to newcomers and challenging for experienced players.

The original production run consisted of 550 units, which quickly gained a dedicated following in the pinball community. Due to overwhelming demand, Spooky Pinball released a collector's edition re-run in 2022, producing an additional 250 units with metallic black trim and various upgrades.
